Breakthrough finds on the High Road to Taos

The High Road to Taos is filled with bends in the road, Quaint communities, Art and past. If you halt and explore little villages like Peñasco, You may be amazed at what you'll find. The High Road Guide represent the villages of Llano San Juan, Llano Largo, And Santa Barbara in the Peñasco area to be first settled by Spanish colonists in 1796, Similar year as Taos. The village of Peñasco is a hub of sorts for residents in the many charming villages and rural areas neighboring it, Not to mention residents of Picurís Pueblo nearby. It also offers free galleries, Culinary, Filling stations, And even a residential area theater. I was checking area with noted artist and Truchas resident, Sally Delap-Justin. It was her suggestion that we stop in Peñasco for lunch and she had great things to say of the Sugar Nymphs Bistro.
